Bulldogs Dive Deep: Individual Dominance Highlights Mid-Season Swim Meet
PALM COAST, FL (FPCSPORTS.COM) – The Flagler Palm Coast swim team delivered a strong performance in a competitive dual meet against Atlantic High School on Thursday, October 9, showcasing a blend of veteran talent and emerging speed in the pool. The Bulldog boys team topped the visiting Sharks 91-50 while the girls squad picked up a win 92-57.
The FPC girls’ team was led by a powerful performance in the 200 Individual Medley (IM), where Matilda Noble took first place in the 200 Individual Medley with a winning time of 2:53.44. The girls also started strong in the 200 Medley Relay, with a contingent including Stella Guymon, Emma Gilbert, Matilda Noble, Jade Hreib with a time of 2:26.25. In the 50 Freestyle Jade Hreib touched the wall in 1:16.53 picking up first place honors, while Emma Gilbert (1st place in 500 Freestyle: 5:13.37) and Stella Guymon (1st place in 100 Backstroke) both turned in stellar performances for the green & white.
On the boys’ side, the Bulldogs controlled the afternoon, led by Noah Roznos took a commanding first-place victory in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:08. FPC continued its winning ways in the short distance races when Jonathan Jayroe claimed the top spot in the 50 Freestyle, leading a strong field with a time of 31.59. The 200 Medley Relay team of Esias, Alex, Noah Roznos, and Kyle led the way in with a first place time of 2:13.
The Bulldogs will look to carry this momentum back into the pool as they travel to take on the University Titans on October 14th at 4:30pm.
