Bulldogs Sweep Palatka at Palm Coast Lanes
PALM COAST, Fla. (FPCSports.com) — The Flagler Palm Coast bowling teams defended their home lanes Wednesday afternoon, as both the boys and girls earned victories over the Palatka Panthers at Palm Coast Lanes. The Bulldog boys posted a total pinfall of 2,435 to defeat Palatka’s 2,290. FPC opened the match with a 905 team game before raising its score to 989 in the second game. Trey Wood led the Bulldogs with a two-game series of 411, highlighted by a team-best 234 in Game 2. Chase Heiser finished one pin behind with a 410 series, rolling games of 219 and 191. Logan Beverly added a 386 series, while Cole Brummer recorded a 370 and Cole Osypian finished with a 317. FPC also won two of the three Baker games. The Bulldogs took the opener 213-189 and closed the match with a 176-154 victory after Palatka claimed the middle game, 169-152.
The Lady Bulldogs completed the sweep with a 1,685-1,392 victory. FPC built an early advantage by winning the opening team game 684-569 and followed with a 731-588 victory in Game 2. Jenett Serrano led the Lady Bulldogs with a 362 series, recording games of 184 and 178. Destiny Bonvouloir added a 339 series, while Mya Kelly contributed a 299 and Casey Martin finished with a 270. The Lady Bulldogs closed the match by winning both Baker games, defeating the Panthers 140-110 and 130-125.
Both FPC teams walked away with convincing victories in another strong performance on their home lanes. The bulldogs are back in action on Monday September 21st as they travel to take on the Spruce Creek Hawks at Ormond Lanes at 3:30pm.
