FPC Shines at the Region 1-4A Championship
November 14, 2025 | Jackonsivlle, FL — Flagler Palm Coast’s cross country teams turned in strong performances at the Region 1-4A Championships on Friday at Cecil Field in Jackonville, with standout individual finishes and solid team showings in the State of Florida’s most difficult region field.
Girls Recap
The FPC girls ran impressively in the 4A 5000-meter finals, finishing 6th as a team in one of the region’s toughest competitions. Senior superstar Arianna Slaughter led the way for the Bulldogs, placing 4th overall in 18:17.23, and in the process set a new FPC all time school record for a 5K race! Anna Grigoruk added yet another strong performance with a 13th-place finish in 19:01.87, while Audrey Bowman (23rd, 19:38.93), Everly Mucciolo (59th, 20:43.58), and Lauren Rutledge (97th, 22:10.53) all turned in outstanding performances for the Dogs. Additional contributors included Seraphina Morris (110th, 24:19.54) and Summer McKinney (115th, 24:52.55), whose efforts helped the Bulldogs secure their top-six team finish. With the 6th place team finish, the Bulldogs qualified for the 4A FHSAA State Championship on Saturday November 22nd at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee.

Boys Recap
The Bulldog boys battled a deep and talented regional field, ultimately finishing 9th as a team in the 4A 5000-meter finals. Freshman standout Douglas Seth led FPC with an impressive 13th-place finish in 15:46.93, turning in the 6th fastest 5K time in school history. Following closely were Evan Johnson (62nd, 17:06.51), Mateo Almeida (63rd, 17:07.95), Owen Stackpole (66th, 17:12.03), and Brayden Murray (96th, 17:57.72) to round out the scoring five for the team. Ricardo Garcia (112th, 19:09.30) and Ayden Peterson (109th, 18:46.66) added depth, helping the Bulldogs stay competitive in a challenging regional meet. Though they fell just short of a top-eight team finish, the boys displayed significant improvement and laid the foundation for a strong postseason performance. Douglas Seth will move on as an individual to race in next weekends FHSAA State Championship!
