Flag Football Earns Back-to-Back Wins Over Matanzas and Palatka
February 19th, 2026 | PALM COAST, FL – The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldog Flag Football team put together an impressive two-night stretch this week, earning decisive victories over rival Matanzas High School on Tuesday and Palatka High School on Wednesday.
Bulldogs Dominate Rival Matanzas, 25-6
FPC showcased a complete team performance in Tuesday’s 25-6 win over Matanzas, fueled by a standout effort from junior playmaker Tori Spann. Spann led the defensive charge with three interceptions, including a game-sealing pick-six that put the contest out of reach. She also contributed on offense, rushing for two touchdowns to cap a dominant all-around performance.
Quarterback Nereyda Campos helped control the tempo of the game, adding a rushing touchdown and delivering several key completions in the second half to keep the Bulldog offense moving.
Defensively, Malaysia McKay added an interception of her own, while Sequoia Jackson disrupted the Pirates’ offense throughout the night, recording three sacks from her defensive rusher position.
Defense Shines Again in 14-0 Win Over Palatka
The Bulldogs carried that momentum into Wednesday night, shutting out Palatka 14-0 behind another dominant defensive showing.
Freshman defensive back Stephanie Turner led the way with three interceptions, continuing her breakout season in the secondary. Turner also contributed on offense with an extra-point reception.
Campos again guided an efficient offensive attack from the quarterback position, keeping the Bulldogs in control as the defense preserved the shutout.
