2024-25 Football - Junior Varsity Assistant Coach
Patrick Turner became the new Head Football Coach at Flagler Palm Coast High School in March of 2025, bringing over two decades of coaching and athletic administration experience to the Bulldog community. Known for his passion for program-building and player development, Turner joins FPC with a proven track record of creating competitive, high-character program rooted in integrity and pride.
Prior to joining FPC, Turner served as Head Football Coach at Palatka High School from 2020 to 2024. He inherited a program with only one winning season in nearly two decades and immediately led a resurgence—guiding the team to three straight winning seasons and multiple district championship appearances, marking the school’s most successful stretch since the early 2000s. His success earned him multiple FACA 2S Coach of the Year honors and a spot on the FACA All-Star coaching staff.
Turner also brings valuable experience as a former Athletic Director and Head Coach at Pedro Menendez High School in St. Augustine, where he oversaw 21 varsity and 10 JV teams, managed a large student-athlete population, and implemented leadership development programs like the Athletic Leadership Council. His ability to lead both on the field and administratively has made him a respected figure across the state.

Throughout his coaching career—which spans high schools in Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina, as well as college programs at Ouachita Baptist University and Northern State University—Coach Turner has produced numerous all-state players, all-star game participants, and Division I signees. His teams are known not only for their competitive success but also for their strong culture of accountability, toughness, and team unity.
Coach Turner holds a Master’s degree in Sports Administration from Henderson State University, where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA, and a B.A. from North Greenville University, where he played collegiate football and helped lead the program to its first-ever Victory Bowl appearance.
As he begins his next chapter at Flagler Palm Coast, Coach Turner is committed to building a football program that reflects the pride and potential of the Bulldog community—focusing on excellence in the classroom, leadership in the community, and relentless effort on the field.
