Bulldogs Blank Middleburg 1–0 at Home

November 12, 2025 | Palm Coast, FL — The Flagler Palm Coast girls soccer team defended their home turf Wednesday night, earning a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Middleburg to continue their strong start to the season and move to 5-0.

Senior midfielder Isabella Kummernes put away the game winner and the game’s lone goal with 13 minutes left in the 2nd half, finishing off a crisp assist from Autumn McGivney to give the Bulldogs the edge. FPC controlled much of the possession and created several scoring chances, with Lauralee MacLeod and Katherine Ouellette keeping pressure on the Middleburg defense throughout the match.

Defensively, the Bulldogs were organized and composed. Zoe Almberg and Hailey Sammonds anchored the back line and helped goalkeeper Natalie Neal to another clean sheet, keeping Middleburg off the scoreboard.

It was a complete team effort that showcased FPC’s poise and defensive strength as they continue to build momentum early in the season. The Bulldogs have some time off before returning to the pitch a week from today on November 19th as they host the Taylor Wildcats at 6:00 & 7:30pm inside Sal Campanella Stadium.
