Bulldogs Battle Past Deltona
PALM COAST (FPCSports.com) — September 4th, 2025
FPC Volleyball put together one of its most complete performances of the season, sweeping Deltona in straight sets (25–14, 25–11, 25–13) to earn a convincing victory at home on Wednesday night.
Senior Faith Dailey led the Bulldogs on both ends of the floor, recording 9 kills on 27 swings while adding a team-high 11 digs. Brie Sproul provided consistent offense with 7 kills and a .259 hitting percentage, along with 9 digs to balance her effort.
FPC’s serve game was a difference-maker. Sophie Campbell converted 19 serves at a 94.7% clip, while Kaitlyn Ebding was perfect behind the line, going 13-for-13. Haley Sobin and Peyton Smith also added valuable pressure with reliable serving that kept Deltona off balance.
Defensively, the Bulldogs’ front line controlled the net. Marina Carlisi tallied 4 blocks and 5 digs, while Smith contributed 5 digs from the back row. Campbell chipped in 6 digs, keeping rallies alive and helping transition the Bulldogs into scoring opportunities.
The victory was a total team effort, with contributions from Cameron Graham, Cailyn Wainright, Gwendolyn Peres, and Ava Sheifer in key spots to secure the sweep.
The Bulldogs are back at home on Thursday evening as they host the Seabreeze Sandcrabs at 6:30pm.
