PALM COAST (FPCSports.com) –  Flagler Palm Coast bowling turned in a strong performance on Monday, Aug. 17, as both the Bulldogs boys and girls teams defeated Pine Ridge. The FPC boys claimed a 6-1 victory, while the girls were even more dominant, winning 6-0.

Brummer leads strong start for FPC boys

The Bulldogs boys took control early behind Cole Brummer, who rolled a 221 to lead FPC in the opening individual game. Logan Beverly added a 207, Trey Wood rolled a 193, Chase Heiser finished with a 162 and Cole Osypian added a 133 as the Bulldogs combined for a 916. Pine Ridge totaled 694 in the first game, led by a 213 from Clifford.

FPC continued to build its advantage in Game 2. Wood led the way with a 205, while Creed Smith rolled a 182. Osypian added a 154, Frederick Dendker rolled a 154 and Aiden Hann had a 117. The Bulldogs totaled 812 in Game 2 compared with Pine Ridge’s 595.

Pine Ridge picked up its only point of the boys match in the first Baker game, edging FPC 151-144. The Bulldogs responded by winning the next two Baker games. FPC won the second 165-135 and finished the match with a 162-153 victory in the third. FPC finished with a 2,199-1,728 advantage in total pinfall.

Bonvouloir rolls 193 as FPC girls dominate

The FPC girls were in control throughout their match, sweeping every available point against Pine Ridge. Destiny Bonvouloir led the Bulldogs in Game 1 with a 156. Jenett Serrano rolled a 137, while Casey Martin and Mya Kelly each added a 124. Zoee Foster rolled an 80. FPC totaled 621 in the opening game, well ahead of Pine Ridge’s 341.

Bonvouloir then delivered the best game of the day for the FPC girls, rolling a 193 in Game 2. Kelly added a 115, Serrano rolled a 102, Martin had a 124 and Foster added a 51 as the Bulldogs combined for 585. Pine Ridge finished the second game with 359.

The Bulldogs also swept the two Baker games that were bowled, winning the first 92-56 and the second 122-79. FPC finished the girls match with a 1,420-835 advantage in total pinfall.

The Bulldogs’ boys and girls teams combined to win 12 of the 13 points contested against Pine Ridge, completing a successful day on the lanes for FPC.
