Bulldogs Cruise to Season Opening Victory
December 3rd, 2025 | Orange City, FL —
The Flagler Palm Coast Girls Basketball (1-0) opened its 2025–2026 campaign in emphatic fashion Tuesday evening, rolling to a dominant 63–13 road victory over University High School in Orange City.
From the opening tip, the Lady Bulldogs dictated the pace on both ends of the floor, using suffocating defense and up-tempo offense to build an early lead that only grew as the night went on.
Tori Spann paced FPC with a strong season debut, pouring in 17 points to lead all scorers. Ava Works followed closely behind with 16 points, giving the Bulldogs a reliable one-two punch that University had no answer for.

FPC also saw valuable contributions across the lineup. Alliandra Diggs and Nereyda Campos each tallied six points, helping the Bulldogs maintain their momentum throughout the game and extend the margin.
Head Coach George Butts praised the team’s defensive intensity and balanced scoring effort in the season opener, noting the energy and execution that set the tone for the year ahead.
The Bulldogs won’t have much time to rest. FPC returns to action Thursday, traveling to Oviedo High School for a pair of contests at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. as they look to build on their impressive start.
