Stiwich Sets School Record in Girls Golf Win
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL (FPCSports.com) —
The Flagler Palm Coast girls golf team put together another impressive performance on the road Tuesday afternoon, defeating Menendez (St. Augustine) in convincing fashion with a team score of 180–230 at St. Augustine Shores Golf Club.
Senior standout Sophia Stiwich led the Bulldogs with an incredible round of six under par – 30, breaking the FPC school record for lowest 9 hole round in school history. Sophomore Ivey Tsouklaris followed with a solid four over par 40, while Sydney Adams carded a 51 and Katarina Becker rounded out the scoring with a 59.
Freshman Lilah Cool (63) and junior Taci Cook (61) also contributed valuable rounds, showing the depth and promise of the Bulldogs’ lineup.
Head Coach Patrick Kleinfelder praised the team’s focus and consistency, noting that this was one of their best collective outings of the season. With this win, FPC continues to build momentum as they head deeper into their schedule and prepare for district play.
