FPC Volleyball Dominates Mainland in Three-Set Sweep
(FPCSports.com) — PALM COAST, Fla. – The Flagler Palm Coast (FPC) Bulldogs’ volleyball team secured a decisive 3-0 victory over Mainland High School on Monday, September 15, 2025, in a commanding home performance. The Bulldogs demonstrated superior hitting and serving efficiency throughout the match, winning with set scores of 25-10, 25-19, and 25-14.
The Bulldogs’ potent offense and disciplined defense were on full display, as the team finished with a .385 hitting percentage, well above Mainland’s .119. Serving proved to be a major factor, with FPC recording 11 aces compared to Mainland’s three. The Bulldogs also tallied 23 assists and 25 digs in the contest. The victory was a collective effort, with several players delivering standout performances. Haley Sobin (#6) was an offensive force, leading the team with 11 kills on 22 attempts for a .455 hitting percentage. Sophie Campbell (#3) was highly efficient, contributing a .600 hitting percentage and one block. Brie Sproul (#10) was perfect from the service line, recording a 100% serve percentage with 3 aces. She also added a .333 hitting percentage. Faith Dailey (#11) contributed 3 aces and 6 digs. Kaitlyn Ebding (#5) anchored the defense, leading the team with 7 digs. Cailyn Wainright (#22) was a threat from the service line, also collecting 3 aces.
