Flagler Palm Coast opened the 2025–26 boys basketball season with an impressive 50–38 win over Seabreeze on Tuesday night, energizing a packed home crowd from the opening tip. The Bulldogs set the tone early with a 17-point first quarter, establishing a lead they would hold the entire way. FPC’s balanced scoring attack was led by Nate Perry, who finished with 17 points, including two threes, along with 4 rebounds and a steal. Jasiah Sanders delivered a dominant performance in the paint, scoring 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting while grabbing 10 rebounds and adding 3 blocks, 2 assists, and a steal. Nateshawn Royal added 9 points and provided steady play in the backcourt, while Anthony Hampton knocked down two timely three-pointers to finish with 6 points and 3 assists.
FPC’s depth and defensive effort proved to be difference-makers as the Bulldogs consistently disrupted Seabreeze’s rhythm, holding the Sandcrabs to 7 points in the opening quarter and just 6 in the third. Strong rotations, active hands, and interior protection—highlighted by Sanders’ rim presence—kept Seabreeze from gaining any sustained momentum. Key contributions off the bench, including a +17 efficiency shift from Jack Wronowski and steady defensive minutes from Zac Murphy, helped FPC maintain control throughout the night.
The Bulldogs won each of the first three quarters, leading 17–7 after one, 30–18 at halftime, and 41–24 entering the fourth. Despite a late push from Seabreeze, FPC closed out the game confidently to secure the season-opening victory.
With the win, FPC moves to 1–0 and now turns its attention to Thursday night’s home matchup with Spruce Creek, with tipoff times set for 6:00 PM (JV) and 7:30 PM (Varsity). The Bulldogs will look to build on their strong start as they return to the Dog Pound later this week.
