ST. AUGUSTINE, FL (FPCSports.com)  — August 28, 2025

The Flagler Palm Coast girls golf team started their 2025 season in impressive fashion on August 20th, earning a dominant victory over Tocoi Creek (St. Augustine) in their opening match at the World Golf Village Slammer & Squire Golf Club. The Bulldogs posted a strong team score of 178, well ahead of the Toros’ 244, setting the tone for what looks to be a promising season.

Senior standout Sophia Stiwich led the way with a stellar round of 36, securing the top individual spot on the leaderboard. She was closely followed by sophomore Ivey Tsouklaris, who carded a 40 to give FPC a powerful one-two punch at the top.

Rounding out the Bulldogs’ scoring were Sydney Adams (JR) with a 49 and Katarina Becker (SR) shooting 53, both turning in solid rounds to keep the team score well out in front. Freshman Lilah Cool also contributed with a 62 in her varsity debut.

The Bulldogs carried their momentum into their third match of the season on August 28th, posting another impressive 178 to finish well ahead of St. Joseph (231) and Pedro Menendez (232) at St. Augustine Shores Golf Club.  Once again, it was Stiwich leading the charge with a 39, earning runner-up honors individually. Tsouklaris was close behind with a 41, while Adams turned in another steady round at 44. Becker (57), Cool (54), and fellow freshman Cali Rodenborn (74) rounded out the lineup in a complete team effort.
